== Results == The United States Department of Commerce gave 10 Chinese companies, including Alibaba Group, Tencent, ByteDance, and JD.com, and distributors including Lenovo and Foxconn, the permission to purchase NVIDIA's H200 chips. === Linear Pottery Culture === Ceramic Petrography has been used extensively in the study of the Linear Pottery Culture (LBK), a European Neolithic culture dating to around 5550 BCE – 4500 BCE. Petrographic analysis has allowed archaeologists to classify LBK ceramics and establish chronological sequences. It has also allowed archaeologists to source raw materials, understand trade routes, and analyse the various production methods. By examining the mineralogical composition and microstructure of LBK pottery, researchers have identified geological sources of raw materials, revealing procurement strategies and exchange networks. Additionally, petrographic analysis has provided insights into pottery manufacturing, including clay selection, forming techniques, surface treatments, and firing methods, contributing to our understanding of technological advancements and cultural practices. Through ceramic petrography, archaeologists can now understand far more about this culture, even with limited material to work with. Indeed, ceramic petrography has shed light on LBK typology, chronology, raw material procurement, trade networks, and technological innovations within the broader context of Neolithic Europe.

=== Internal social situation === The social situation in Mexico in the later years of the Lázaro Cárdenas presidency and the entirety of the Manuel Ávila Camacho presidency, was one of profound socio-economic inequality. By 1940, the upper class represented only 1.05% of the population, the middle class 15.87%, and the lower class 83.08%. Most of the Mexican population were farmers living in the countryside, and a working class was beginning to emerge from the emerging industrial development sector. To guarantee that there were institutions before the state that defended the interests of the workers of different sectors, various union organizations were established, including the Confederation of Mexican Workers (CTM), the Unión Sinarquista de Mexico, among others, which made up the Mexico left. The union leaders were the Communist Party of Mexico (PCM), representing the more radical left, and Vicente Lombardo Toledano and Fidel Velázquez Sánchez, representing the more moderate left. The right wing was represented by a broad conservative and pro-clerical sector, the business sector (especially financial and industrial), and the new National Action Party (PAN), founded in 1939 by Manuel Gómez Morín. The confrontations between left and right were a constant that caused violent conflicts. However, Cárdenas was able to achieve relative social stability before the war by championing union organizations and peasants, while accommodating conservatives by postponing social reforms.

==== Isomers ==== Alternative skeletal isomers of DOBU can also be produced, where the 4-(n-butyl) group of DOBU is replaced with any of the three other butyl isomers, the iso-butyl, sec-butyl and tert-butyl compounds being called DOIB, DOSB, and DOTB, respectively. All are significantly less potent than DOBU, with DOIB being active at around 10–15 mg, and DOSB at 25–30 mg. The most highly branched isomer DOTB was completely inactive in both animal and human trials. However, it was also reported that DOTB and DOAM partially generalized to DOM in animal drug discrimination tests.
Spontaneous deamination is the hydrolysis reaction of cytosine into uracil, releasing ammonia in the process. This can occur in vitro through the use of bisulfite, which deaminates cytosine, but not 5-methylcytosine. This property has allowed researchers to sequence methylated DNA to distinguish non-methylated cytosine (shown up as uracil) and methylated cytosine (unaltered). In DNA, this spontaneous deamination is corrected for by the removal of uracil (product of cytosine deamination and not part of DNA) by uracil-DNA glycosylase, generating an abasic (AP) site. The resulting abasic site is then recognised by enzymes (AP endonucleases) that break a phosphodiester bond in the DNA, permitting the repair of the resulting lesion by replacement with another cytosine. A DNA polymerase may perform this replacement via nick translation, a terminal excision reaction by its 5'⟶3' exonuclease activity, followed by a fill-in reaction by its polymerase activity. DNA ligase then forms a phosphodiester bond to seal the resulting nicked duplex product, which now includes a new, correct cytosine (Base excision repair).
